Over the past 11 years, InterVarsity has been involved in an amazing new way to serve those in need and reach out to the college students furthest away from Jesus. How do we reach skeptic or cynical people? We grab arms and walk into the things that break God’s heart, as well as breaking the heart of all people created in God’s image. We serve the poor, rebuild homes and lives, fight injustice and racism serving side by side and in the middle of it share Jesus.
Studying abroad can be more than just a "great opportunity to see the world." It can also be a great opportunity to join God's global mission and experience your faith within the context of another culture. See how three American students studying in Europe are doing just that.

HIRING FOR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS
And staff directors: don’t forget to consult with me if you’re exploring a new plant or hiring a staff for a Catholic school. You can also find the document on hiring priorities for staff at Catholic schools HERE. And everyone’s invited to check out the “IVCF Staff working at Catholic Schools” Facebook group
Do you have Catholic students in your chapter that you want to see grow in their faith and their call to mission on campus? Direct them to the InterVarsity New England Catholic Network Facebook Group.
Do you want to reach out more effectively to Catholic students on your campus? Talk to me; I can help you do good analysis of your current effectiveness and develop new strategies. Start with this tool –Ten Ways to Better Spiritual Engagement with our Catholic Friends. Also, my PAPER on awakening and conversion may help as well. Do you want to grow in your own understanding of Catholicism in the context of InterVarsity’s mission? My “Bridging the Catholic-Evangelical Gap” is a good place to start. Here is a resource list of articles, books and videos to help you go a little deeper.
