Strength and Hope in a Time of Tragedy

At the end of another tragic week in our country, 65-70 students from the Five College Area (Amherst, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, UMass Amherst & Smith) gathered at for a Black Campus Ministries worship night.  While this event had been in the works before the tragedies happened, it served to be a timely space for black students and allies to gather together before the Lord.

Through Gospel worship, a time of lament and prayer for one another, students encountered the Lord and found strength and hope.  Through a student given invitation to faith, four students responded by making Jesus their Savior.  One responded to seek Jesus intentionally and another to be on mission on her campus.
